Jennifer Yane has been so easy to work with even long distance. We sent her photos of our pets from our phone. Jennifer then called to discuss the pictures and colors for background.
I love that she made the colors fun and our pets Pop and stand out. She really caught their expression and inner self. Jennifer really wanted us to be happy and sent us photos of the work in progress and asked for feedback. She made sure that we were getting what we were hoping for, a Beautiful portrait of the pets we love.

The pet portrait I commissioned for my husband last Christmas was far and away the favorite gift of the year and holds pride of place over the fireplace in our living room. The unique personalities of each of our five pets— three dogs and two cats—glow through the life captured in their eyes and the gorgeous colors and contours of their fur. Everyone who comes into our home marvels at this painting, as it truly captures the essence of the precious animal babies we love so much.

In 2014 the extremely talented Jennifer Yane painted a portrait of our furry friend and love bug named Bella. Using a handful of photographs Jennifer captured the spirit of our Border Collie/St. Bernard mix to a “T”. We treasure the painting. Bella’s colorful and whimsical portrait is hanging in our bedroom. We said “goodbye” to Bella in 2017, but we wake up to see her sweet face every morning. Her legacy lives on in Jennifer’s brush strokes. Thank you, Jennifer.

I have commissioned Jennifer to paint pet portraits for family members who are crazy about their dogs. She absolutely captured their personalities...her attention to detail is spot on…she added even the tiniest distinctive markings that make the portraits even more special…and the backgrounds are colorful & textured! Without a doubt, these are my very favorite gifts to give. Jennifer (and her paintings) are soooo much fun!!!
